Who We Are
EIC is a Johannesburg based immigration consultancy which has been established to assist individuals, families and corporates in preparing and submitting all immigration related applications for South Africa.
Our firm is led by Richard Eiberg (LLB), who has over 27 years of experience in the immigration environment and is recognised as one of the most experienced and knowledgeable immigration professionals in the country.
We ensure that all temporary and permanent residency applications are crafted in the most professional and compliant manner in order to achieve the most favourable outcomes.
A permanent residence permit may be issued to a qualifying applicant that is able to meet the requirements set for the specific category of permit applied for.
In almost all instances, a citizenship application may only be submitted once an individual has acquired permanent residence status and has been a permanent resident for at least 5 years.
An appeal can be submitted against any negative decision received from the Department of Home Affairs where such decision materially and adversely affects the rights of the individual.
Declarations of undesirability are most commonly issued by the Department for travellers that have overstayed the validity periods of their visas whilst in South Africa.
A foreigner that is unable to renew their visa on time whilst in South Africa will find themselves in the difficult position of not having a current status in the Republic.
